In Memory

Dennis Stephan (Stephan)

Dennis Stephan (Stephan)

From Dennis' son:

It is with the heaviest heart that we announce the passing of Dennis W. Stephan, who left us yesterday, July 22nd, in Sun City, Arizona, at the age of 64.

Dennis was a father of two, former businessman, pet owner, and most importantly, a friend to all. He enjoyed all forms of entertainment (music, movies, sports), lying by the beach, going to events with friends/family; and will be remembered for how passionate he was about these very things that he loved. Throughout the last five years of his life, Dennis endured multiple health issues. Despite the struggles, he always kept up his witty jokes and positive attitude until his very final days. Dennis is survived by his brother Norman, his two sons, Jacob and Daniel, and their mother Josie, and will be very dearly missed.

Rest In Peace Dad ❤️

Very sad news.  Dennis was a fellow cross country and track competitor involved in numerous races throughout his SHS years.  His best mile time was 5:10 I can best remember and was normal to run 5-10 miles a day.  We ran up cholla road on camelback mountain numerous times together too, only to reach the bottom and then go back up it again 5-10 times more.  He breezed through it everytime as I can distinctly remember. Thanks for the great memories he will be deeply missed.

Dennis was in a ton of my classes in high school. He was always a super happy guy and one of the few male friends that I had throughout those 4 years. When I caught up with him at the SHS Class of 1979 10th class reunion and the 40th class reunion, he was the same jovial and witty individual. In fact, at the latter, he was a real hoot to hang with. I'm going to miss that lovable mug! Thank you God for letting him be in my life, even if just for small segments here and there. RIP dear sweet Dennis. I will never forget you. You definitely made a precious impact on my life.
